This is one of those songs that makes me lean over and check the dab display every time I hear it on the radio. Hope you like it too. The sun is shining here, I’d better get out there and make the most of it. x

Day Forty-Nine

More or less ten weeks in and it’s looking good. All the plastering is done, we have two working loos, two rooms are totally ready to paint, funnily enough I’m not so excited about that now it’s actually come time to go for it! Downstairs has lots of developments, the ensuite looks great, just need to finalise which shower to go for now, the cupboard is going to be the best ever storage space for this’n’that so I can have a beautifully uncluttered home (and a chronic cupboard). Today I was quite fancying the ensuite for a wee hidey hole study type room but I think we’ll go with the original plan.

Other Stuff
We have shown off our regeneration to numerous people today, the house has been going like a fair this afternoon, great fun with about 13 kids dotting about in total making iPad films in the garden. Brilliant, that’s what this house should be about. Tea was the order of the day with the visitors and I reckon I had about 8 cups in amongst the comings and goings, lucky we now have two loos.
Wishing you all a brilliant weekend. xx
Day Forty-Eight

We are nearly done with the plastering now, just a bit of the ensuite and the bedroom cupboard to go. The two front bedrooms are pretty much finished minus a cupboard door. Many of the lights and plug points are in situ now too. The plumbing has resumed progress and it feels like things are moving along nicely. Looks like I can go and buy some white emulsion to get the first watery coat on.

Lovely day again here if you kept in the sunshine. Had a good walk round the Botanics and visited the library too. Let’s keep fingers crossed it’s sunny over the weekend. x
