Garden Room

On Sunday morning, while we were catching up with celebrity Bake Off, the sun was just fabulous coming through the three windows in the place we call the garden room/back room/big room amongst other names.  The truth is this is our main living area at the back of the house which was built in 1999 and affectionately know as the ‘millennium dome’ by my parents when the building works were going on.  I can’t quite remember which one was completed first.

This room was begging for as corner sofa. This one arrived in November last year and it has not disappointed.
From the moment I knew we were moving to the bungalow I felt this room was begging for a corner sofa. This one arrived in November last year and it has not disappointed.  It was well worth the wait.

This room is where we eat and do the numerous other things that happen at the ‘kitchen table’. Most of the time it works to have it all in here. There are the inevitable homework vs TV issues some nights but it’s all part of family life isn’t it?

 Well, now you’ve seen where we spend a lot of our time, I am not sure how we would manage without it.  One of these days I will do a whole house tour, honest.
