The good news is that I had a shower this morning, yahoo.  The bad news is that the bathroom is now out of bounds!

More good news is that the upstairs bath is fully functional now so we can get clean. Phew.

The window sills are all in upstairs, lots of fiddly little jobs are being done now like the ceiling and floor in the cupboard where the old stairs were and a stud wall in the hall cupboard.

We had a brilliant trip to London this weekend – photos coming soon. We’re all a bit tired zzzz

Lots and lots of bathroom activity today resulting in tiling round the bath and a shower enclosure with shower in.  Not ready to use I’m sorry to report.  Never mind, another day or two won’t make any difference now.

Still some grout to go and probably another couple of rows of tiles above the bulkhead, we are thinking about it overnight.  I am so pleased to see such a difference in a day and the look is exactly what I hoped for.  We even have lights that work in there, things are coming on indeed.

The lights upstairs are working now and another exciting installation is going on upstairs too, I’ll show you what soon.

Some of the tiles are up and I am delighted with how they look.  We have a few little things to iron out with tiling under the window but I’m sure we’ll sort it out tomorrow.  Everything for the upstairs bathroom is here too which is great.

F is finally feeling a bit better after a trip to the docs this afternoon.  He has literally slept for two days but now he is ‘managing’ to play minecraft so I’m guessing calpol and antibiotics are doing the trick at last.

I’m looking  forward to seeing the bath upstairs in place and everything coming together.  Then there will be the almighty sorting of stuff and probably more trips to the dump.  Hey ho.
