On Sunday morning, while we were catching up with celebrity Bake Off, the sun was just fabulous coming through the three windows in the place we call the garden room/back room/big room amongst other names. The truth is this is our main living area at the back of the house which was built in 1999 and affectionately know as the ‘millennium dome’ by my parents when the building works were going on. I can’t quite remember which one was completed first.

- Here’s how it looks from outside, this was one day the rugby was on. I was watching it from the garden and getting the sound effects live from Murrayfield. This is not looking like Scotland’s finest 6 Nations.
Well, now you’ve seen where we spend a lot of our time, I am not sure how we would manage without it. One of these days I will do a whole house tour, honest.
I love your back room. Such a fab space and always feels so welcoming k x
That looks so inviting…I would never leave that sofa! Just enjoying looking out through the windows and chill in front of TV during rainy days! Looks lovely!
Sadly I never seem to find enough time to sit and enjoy it!y time will come. Super to hear from you, Katie x
