Easter Monday or not this house was a buzzing hive of activity this morning. Electricians putting in lights, switches and power points, walls being knocked through, cupboard doors being made and plastering being done. All good and it feels like they are getting closer to completion. I cannot wait to get upstairs to paint that lovely smooth plaster, hopefully this weekend I can get in there and get on.
When we got home from a lovely day out, the space was knocked through the wall for the new door and the place was tidied up a treat, so good to come home and not have to clear up lots of brick dust. The doors for the little cupboards are looking good and so is the plastering.
Here are lots of photos for you to see how it’s going, enjoy.

Other Stuff
Easter Monday seemed a good time to get together with some old friends and their children. Yellowcraigs in East Lothian was the perfect destination for children aged 3 (only just) to 13 and dogs. There’s a great big playpark and a gorgeous beach – not the best beach weather but good to get some fresh air and Lucy the dog just loves the beach, she runs about like a puppy this way and that, very cute. We went out for lunch (I’ll tell you about that another time). Lunch was followed by more playing in another park – the sun came out to make it even better. All of us ‘grown ups’ agreed it was a successful day and that we really should do it more often. It really is just a case of planning which sounds really boring but it is necessary for these days to happen. The diaries will be out soon to make another date. Let’s make it soon. x
