Day Seventy

Day seventy and my 100th post too. Tonight’s the night the front two bedrooms will be used for the first time.

Have a wee peek at these to see how we’re looking today…

This is an old bed which, funnily enough, was in almost exactly the same position in the house before the regeneration.  It’s a bit 1980’s at the moment – it’s due a wee regeneration of its own, either white or pale blue.

F brought this little train carriage for H from his school trip, very sweet of him

The rug is not staying, it’s just there for now until the carpet arrives.  Not sure how long that will be.

My lovely boy F is home from camp – he had a great time.  His new room is ready for him tonight which I’m really chuffed about, I promised him it would be.  H is nearly beside herself about sleeping in her new room, bet it takes her forever to settle up there.  The front window blinds are up but I’ll need a makeshift cover for the Velux  windows which are right above their beds.

We’ve had the underfloor heating connected upstairs and it is lush to have warm feet, it would be amazing to have it in the big room at the back, so toasty.  The bannister is looking good now after much deliberation about whether to use the caps or not.  We did and I like them.

Wishing you all a great weekend, I think we’re going to try to get a bit of the chaos sorted and we have a school eco-fair to go to tomorrow which should be fun. x
