This blog is not as prolific as I’d like it to be, the works have nearly stopped but the regeneration certainly hasn’t, not by a long way.

We had some shelves and lots of bits and bobs done on Saturday. C and I both have our eye on these shelves in the spare room cupboard, there are 5 so we may have to do a deal. The ensuite shower went in on Friday, as you saw, it is brilliant, it was worth all the time it took to choose it. Now for the flooring….vinyl or Harvey Maria?

These hooks are for the upstairs bathroom. All they need is a lick of paint and we can put them up. That makes it sound so easy eh? I have sanded them so it shouldn’t take long once I actually get round to doing it. The back bedroom has had some more paint but it is going slowly for sure. The carpets should be in soon which will make such a difference to the children’s rooms upstairs. It is so warm up there it’s amazing, they’re pretty settled up there. Feels like forever until I’ll move up there to join them.

We had the electricians in today to install this magic mirror, the circle is the light, this is one of the few things we have seen on our travels that C really wanted – so here it is. The upstairs bathroom is finished now, needs a good clean! (apart from the pegs of course, always one more thing to do).
Other Stuff

Here’s a random snack found today, I used to get them in Malaysia as a treat from the import supermarket TMC. This is the first time I’ve seen them here, not that I’ve ever actually looked for them. I’m guessing they hail from the USA. They’re lovely.
We have plenty varieties of goldfish here! What a find 😉
Just found your blog recently and loved reading back through your bungalows makeover. We have a California bungalow style house we call Betsy in Brisbane Australia that we have just started renovating, if you are like me it is always exciting to find other renovators! mel x
Pleased to meet you and thanks for getting in touch, katie x
Things are really looking good. I was about to tell you K gets these in Marin, but she got there first. Enjoy xx
Really taking shape! Love the clever mirror, just thinking that a certain F might appreciate those crackers! x
None of the kids like them, what a shame.
