Day Twelve

What a day, it started out promising snow and  now it is gey dreich out there, as my Dad would have said.  In other words, cold, wet, damp, dark and miserable.  I am writing this in the garden room with full outdoor gear on and I am freezing.  The heating is off so the megatank can be installed and the water’s off for the same reason so I can’t even have a cuppa.  The good news is that we will have heating back later today but the bad news is no hot water tonight.  My  husband washed his hair in freezing cold water this morning, horrible.  There is no way I could have done that – lucky I don’t have work today.  Brrrr.

The upstairs is looking good, the sound insulation is down and so is half of the flooring.  It looks so much bigger now it is totally clear.
