Day ten, is that all?
Only a little to report today, we have a few more uprights and an actual corner upstairs. I am sure there’s more than that – hard for my untrained eye to decipher. This makes the corner of the back bedroom.

The old cold water tank sits above the attic space and seems to have an inordinate amount of pipework around it. It’s coming out in the next couple of days along with miles of old heating and plumbing pipes. Good.

The little bird bedroom is having a makeshift makeover to give us a temporary bathroom. The ensuite needs to be taken out to get the stairs in and we need somewhere to wash, even the boys.

We are still deciding on bathroom stuff. I am tempted to put a freestanding bath in under the window – there is something putting me off and I cannot put my finger on it. Have you any idea how many options are out there for the bathroom? Did you realise a toilet can be hanging, open back, close coupled, hidden cistern, back to wall, softclose, not to mention the one that seems to wash as well as flush. Hmmmm. No wonder we’re finding it hard to finalise our choice. Steel bath, acrylic bath, composite bath, etc, etc. Anyone got any comments for or against freestanding baths?

I’m still not sure how to get the little button on the blog, so here’s a web link. I’m still getting the hang of the boards so there are some random pins in the wrong section, I’ll get there.
