Day Fifteen

I really like it when I’ve been out all day and loads of visible change has happened when I get home.   Great one today, the dormer has gone.  It has been a glorious day and everything is going well.  The alarm has gone downstairs now which means the upstairs can finally be finished at the back right corner.  Some pipework has gone in for the upstairs bathroom and obviously the prep is all there for the new dormer.  It is so bright up there, it’s brilliant, especially on a day like today.

I know a photo of pipes is pretty dull but I just have to record everything I can here.

Other Stuff

Yesterday was another brilliant day, we nipped out down to Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside, for a quick walk with the dogs and then visited the Luca’s at Musselburgh.  Great lunchtime food again, kids love it there too.  When I got home I did something I’ve always wanted to do.  At the last house I nurtured a compost heap for 8 years and never used the compost.  The revelation yesterday was that I emptied one of the compost bins here and spread it on the ornamental cherry and some other places.  I must say that Monty Don now has competition on his hands.  I thought it was brilliant.  I even took a picture of it for you.

more boring than pipes? sorry

Should be another good day tomorrow, see you then x
